Data Protection Appliance

Description:
Our advanced data protection appliance is a double or single stage system that can either replace your Microsoft and Linux fileserver or be added to your environment. Your data is protected by automatically creating checkpoints when there are changes to the filesystem (including deletions) and replicating those changes to encrypted storage. There is NO CHARGE to restore data after a loss event whether is a simple file deletion or a complete server rebuild. We work with you to rebuild and restore as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Uses:
- Replacement for basic file sharing servers where robust data protection is desired.
- Deployments along side current servers to create a dedicated replication infrastructure.
- Deployments into non-server or distributed environments to immediately centralize and protect data.
- Satisfy business continuity and disaster recovery requirements.
- Provide data security and protection in environments where physical controls are weak (e.g. lightweight structures, public areas, shared office spaces, etc.)

Features:
- Versioning and replication technologies are integrated into the device layer which increases data throughput.
- 3rd party products like open file managers are not needed because only disk block data is replicated.
- Replicated data is consistent and current to the last successful disk sync.
- Document versioning allows for more precise file recovery and can be done from either the source (single stage) or mirrored (double stage) disk. This includes restoring deleted files which is significantly faster than tape systems.
- Replicating document versions provides a framework for being able to eliminate a tape back up systems and associated costs.
- Appliance if available for read and write operations during file recovery.
- Only block changes are replicated once the initial sync is complete.
- During a loss event, data can also be shipped on a disk or made available online via a secure connection.

Our data protection service is not an appliance but a sync service for desktops or servers. Your data is protected by replicating file changes to encrypted storage. There is NO CHARGE to restore data after a loss event. We work with you to rebuild and restore as quickly and efficiently as possible.
